Wood from forests that keep on growing
All our outdoor kitchens are made from FSC-certified Douglas fir, from carefully planted and managed forests. And we build them to last for decades.
A label for the whole forest, not just the tree
By choosing an outdoor kitchen with the FSC label, you help preserve vulnerable forests for the generations after us. No more is felled than grows back, and what is felled is replanted. The label guarantees that the wood has been produced in an ecologically and socially responsible way.
Biodiversity
The natural habitat of plants and animals in the forest is protected and maintained.
Honest work
The wood is felled and processed under safe and fair working conditions, with respect for workers' rights.
Local communities
The interests of the people who live in and around the forests are respected and taken into account.
The biggest gain is in the lifespan
A kitchen that lasts fifteen years or more doesn't need to be remade, transported and disposed of in that time. That's why we work with solid wood instead of board material, with robust hardware, and you can replace individual parts instead of the whole kitchen.

Years of enjoyment, without compromising on comfort
- Douglas fir is naturally durable and stands up well to the Dutch weather.
- Damaged wood can be touched up and re-treated; we'll explain how.
- Separate parts, such as doors, drawers and worktops, can be replaced individually.
- Short lines: we build everything ourselves, without middlemen.
